Do not take the company’s word for how old the cameras are. The business owner might have bought the cameras used, and might be older than he is letting on.

The fence should also not have large enough holes that a person can use as hand/foot holds to climb. Caveats to this rule include if the fence is electric, and if the fence has barbed wire draped across the top. These deterrents are usually good enough to keep thieves at bay.
